In celebration of the coming performances in Edmonton of the Mei Lanfang Beijing Opera, the foremost troupe in this discipline, The Confucius Institute is proud to host an exhibition of the work of QI Qingnai, a master artist now living in the Edmonton area, who has produced many works capturing the spirit and intent of Beijing Opera.
The Exhibition will run at the Confucius Institute Cultural Centre From the evening of Sept 2 to the afternoon of Sept 8.
There will be an opening reception on the evening of Sept 2 (Thursday) from 7-9pm.
Exhibition hours will be 9 am to 6 pm weekdays.
